I get the error "not enough memory for operation" or "out of memory", but I have plenty of memory on my computer. What is wrong?

Even though your computer may have lots of memory, because of the way Windows 95/98 works, you may still get this error message. You just need to reboot your computer, and you will be then be able to use use the function that caused this error.
Please keep in mind, though, that resources under Win95/98 have an internal limit that's not affected by RAM (that is, no matter how much memory you have, you'll always have the same resource limit). This means that running several large applications at the same time on Win95/98 may drain resources regardless of whether you have 16MB of RAM or 128MB of RAM. If you run several applications at once and find yourself bumping into these resource limits quite frequently, we strongly recommend upgrading to Windows NT, where these resources limits do not exist.

I'm receiving a message that says "Record is Deleted" or "Not a valid bookmark".

If you receive a message that says "Record is Deleted" or "Not a valid bookmark", please choose "Repair/Compact DB" from the "Database Tools" option on the main menu. This should fix the problem.

I'm trying to run a report, and I'm getting the error message "Report Not Found".

This could happen if you installed the upgrade into a directory other than the directory where you installed the original version. Please re-install the upgrade, and make sure it is installed into the directory where you installed the original version. This could also happen if one of the support files for the reports was deleted or is damaged. If this is the case, re-install the full version of Fantasy Commissioner to replace these files. This will NOT affect your league database.

I'm gettting the following error message: "Error # : 3040 Description: Disk I/O error during read"

This could be caused by bad sectors on your hard drive. Run ScanDisk on your computer to fix any bad sectors. Then run "Repair/Compact DB" from the "Database Tools" option on the main menu of Fantasy Commissioner.

I get the error "Invalid Formula Name" when running a report. What's wrong?

This will occur if you installed the upgrade to a different directory than you installed the original version. Please re-install the upgrade, and make sure you specify the directory where you installed version the original version.

I am getting GPF's (General Protection Faults) when running one of your products. What is causing this?

Some customers have been experiencing GPF's when they have First Aid, CrashGuard, a virus program, or Microsoft's Active Desktop running at the same time that they are running one of our products. Try unloading those products and then running our product.

I am getting Error #3029, Not a valid account name or password.

Check you entire hard drive for the file 'system.mdw'. Delete all instances of it and try again.

I select the league and as it is opening, I get an error that says: "ERROR #3633, Description: Can't load DLL:MSJTER35.DLL.

A league database from last year will not work on the new version. You will need to create a new league database in the 2006 version, and then use the "Import League Info" option (on the "League Maintenance" menu) to transfer your league info from last years database in the new league database.

When I try to run the software, I get the message "File OLEAUT32.DLL is out of date. This program requires a newer version."

This error message will occur if you installed Fantasy Commissioner, but did not reboot your computer after the installation completed. Please reboot your computer, and then you should be able to run Fantasy Commissioner.

When I try to run a report, I get a "error code 507; invalid file name".

If you get error 507, that usually means a needed support file is missing. Please re-install Fantasy Commissioner to fix this. This will not affect your league databases. NOTE: Make sure none of the fields in the "local file name" on the Batch Reporting screen end with ".rpt", as that can cause this error. Deleting the files with the ".rpt" extension in the directory where you installed Fantasy Commissioner will also cause this error.

I am trying to upload reports using Batch Reporting, and I am getting a error that says "Timeout error 10060".

On the Web Site Setting tab, try changing the Connect Type to Active and then run it.

When I try to run the software, I get the message "ActiveX Component can't create object (#429)".

Please download the Fantasy Commissioner demo from our site again and re-install it. It may be that some support files are missing or outdated. This will not affect your league databases. Make sure to re-install it into the same directory as it is currently installed. You will not need to re-enter your registration number.

When importing stats, I get the message "Invalid use of Null (#94)".

Go to the scoring system screen and check all the categories where you have an "INC". One of the grids has a blank in the Fantasy Points column. You need to put a zero in there or delete the row.

When importing stats, I get the message "The following stat has MORE THAN ONE assigned value in the fantasy scoring system".

If you get the "The following stat has MORE THAN ONE assigned value in the fantasy scoring system", this means there is a problem in your scoring. For example, if you have passing TD's setup as

1 - 50   6 points
50 - 100  12 points

then a TD of 50 yards would fit in both lines. You need to look at that error message and note the scoring category with the problem and make the correction.

When opening my league database, I get the error "Runtime Error: The Microsoft Jet Database engine cannot open the file (leaguename.ped). It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data (#3051)."

This means the file leaguename.ped is marked as read-only. You need to right-click that file and choose 'properties', then uncheck the read-only box.
